A cheque for $165,583 for the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation is the result of the latest round of the Rotary Club of Uxbridge Catch the Ace lottery. The funds will be used to support the new Uxbridge Hospital, helping fund the medical equipment, technology and specialized patient care spaces that will support the delivery of high-quality care for generations to come.

Catch the Ace has awarded over $320,000 in prizes to date, including a recent grand prize of
$186,094. Those numbers will soon start to grow as the next round of the lottery is ready to
launch at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9. The lottery will continue to support a new
hospital for Uxbridge, helping to secure local health care well into the future.
Draws will be held live at The Second Wedge Brewing Co. in Uxbridge at 7:00 p.m. every
Wednesday starting September 16, until the Ace of Spades is caught.
Another new feature of this round of Catch the Ace is that memberships will be offered. Regular
ticket purchasers will be able to sign up for a weekly ticket so they don’t need to enter all of their
information every week, and they will never miss a chance to win. Payments will still be made
on a weekly basis and participants can opt out at any time. Details will be available on the
lottery web page: uxhospitalace.ca.
Catch the Ace is a progressive lottery that awards 20% of ticket sales to a winner every week.
30% of sales go into a progressive jackpot and accumulate until the Ace of Spades is found.
The jackpot will start at $2,500 and will grow with every ticket sold. The remaining 50% of sales,
less expenses, is the charity share, supporting a new hospital for Uxbridge.
